This paper introduces the vector mode of CORDIC algorithm and draw a comparison between bit serial iterative CORDIC and bit parallel iterative CORDIC. We propose method of solving overflow of bit serial iterative CORDIC and design the architecture of bit serial iterative CORDIC.
