词根词缀法
dispel—驱散。怎么记呢？英语中，词缀dis的含义是“分开”，pel说过了是“推”，dispel就是分开、推。
词源记忆法
dis-，分开，散开。-pel，驱动，驱赶，词源同expel，impel.
对比记忆法
pel在词根中的意思是“推”，而 com是 “共同”，所以，大家共同推你去做—— compel的意思 就是强迫做。另外，如果一直推你去，肯定是那个地方 值得一去，十分compelling——迷人的。
3、再看看一个词缀re—“往回”。所以往回推，就是 repel—拒绝、排斥。
4、词缀ex的意思是“向外”，所以向外推，就是 expel—开除、排除。
