词源记忆法
在古代西方，有一种常见的占卜方法，就是抽签抓阄或掷骰子。这种方法在英语中被称为“sortilege”，拉丁语中为“sortilegium”，该词源于拉丁语中的“sortes”（命运），指刻画在石头、木片、纸片、骰子上的符号、图形、或文字。sortilege的意思就是使用这种sortes，通过随机抽取、翻取、投掷等方式来达到占卜的目的。同样源于sortes的单词还有sorcery，其意思便是巫术、魔法。
